I was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I went to Boyd-Buchanan School. After graduating high school I attended the University of Tennessee- Chattanooga and graduated with a BS in Criminal Justice. I graduated from the Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law (Barry University School of Law) in 2020. I will be taking the bar and will be admitted to practice law in Tennessee shortly. I enjoy bankruptcy law because it affords the unfortunate debtor the opportunity to obtain a fresh start. I particularly enjoy Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Business reorganizations.
I am a member of Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority and I have served as the financial advisor for the Eta Kappa Chapter at UTC.
My law school was known for its bankruptcy program and I was afforded the opportunity to work in the clinic as well as taking several bankruptcy classes. I was also a research assistant for my bankruptcy professor. I got the book award (also known as the highest grade. I don’t know if that’s a thing at all law schools) in the bankruptcy clinic and my business reorganizations class.
I enjoy helping others learn how to be financially responsible by giving them the resources to acquire healthy financial habits.
